Kimberly Klimczuk, a partner in the firm, focuses her practice in management-side labor law and employment litigation. Kimberly has experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements and advising on contract interpretation. She has also successfully defended clients in state and federal court and before administrative agencies in a variety of areas of employment law, including wage/hour law, discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, and workers’ compensation claims. Additionally, she has assisted employers in compliance matters involving the Office of Federal Contract Compliance and has drafted numerous affirmative action plans for them.
Kimberly graduated from Duke University School of Law in 2004, and she received her B.A. in Mathematics and Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999. Prior to joining the firm, Kimberly was an attorney with a regional labor and employment law firm for five years. Before attending law school, she worked as a paralegal in a labor and employment law firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; she was a law clerk there in the summer of 2002.
Kimberly is a frequent speaker for a wide variety of associations and organizations and has authored numerous articles on employment-related legal topics. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Gandara Center and regularly volunteers in community activities. Kimberly is admitted to practice in both the state and federal courts in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
